Tideaway Cottage is located on the water in Tremont, what was once a boathouse has been remodeled in 2008 into a beautiful multi-level cottage.  This 5 bedroom 3.5 bath cottages offers all the modern conveniences of home along with a few little extras.  Enjoy your days sitting in the sunroom watching the birds frolic at low tide or at high tide watch the waves glisten in the sun. The granite steps outside offer you the convenience of being able to launch your kayak at high tide right in front of the house.  The fenced in side yard makes a great private place for the kids to run and play, to barbeque dinner or boil those famous red bugs everyone loves to enjoy while in Maine.  Walk across the street to the grammar school and play on the playground or catch the island explorer bus.

Tideaway is located on the waterside in this beautiful cottage.  The livingroom opens up into a large sunroom complete with a gas run fireplace and gorgeous views up the harbor to Bass Harbor.  Tideaway offers a newly remodeled kitchen with granite counters tops,  microwave, and two drawer dishwasher.  The dining room offers water views and amble setting for 8.  On this level is a half bath and a large sitting room with wet bar perfect for entertaining the whole family.  Upstairs in Tideaway is the master bedroom with king size bed and amazing views of the harbor.  A second bedroom offers two twin beds and a shared bath features a jacuzzi tub.  A small laundry room with stack washer and dryer is located on this level as well.  Garage space is available with Tideaway.  Amenities: Flat panel TV with DVD and cable, CD player, gas run fireplace, stack washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas grill, telephone with long distance block (you will need a calling card to call long distance).  Sleeps 4

Eagles Nest on the next level up is an efficiency apartment complete with small kitchen that includes two burners, under the counter refrigerator and coffee pot for those early risers who don't want to disturb the rest of the family.  Eagles Nest offers a queen bed and a bathroom with shower.  Enjoy the views of the harbor while watching tv or reading a book on the large wrap around sofa.  Amenities: TV with VCR and cable.  Sleeps 2

Captains Quarters is located in the upper section of this cottage.  Captains Quarters offers a large bedroom with a queen size bed and a second bedroom with a double bed.  Captains Quarters has a full bath with tub and separate shower.  Also located in Captains Quarters is a ladder leading to a loft with a window seat, perfect for getting away from the noise to enjoy a little quiet all to yourself.  Sleeps 4

Eagles Nest and Captains Quarters in addition to being accessible through Tideaway offers an additional separate entrance for those who may have several families staying together but coming and going separately. 


Tideaway, Eagles Nest, and Captains Quarters are all No Smoking and No Pets.  Maximum Occupancy is: 10

July 10 - August 28:  *Tideaway and 1 other section must be rented during this time

                                                                                                         with Captains Quarters an additional $750.00/week

There is also a $500.00 deposit which will be returned within 14 days of your departure from Tideaway.
