Tucked gently into the woods this property is just a short 5 miles to Southwest Harbor and a mile from Bernard and Thurston's Lobster Pound- the best place to have lobster on Mount Desert Island- overlooking Bass Harbor.!   From the moment you drive in you will enjoy the tranquility this cottage has to offer.  Grill a succulent steak on the gas grill while enjoying the sounds around you on the wrap around covered porch.  As you enter the cottage you will be amazed by the open floor plan allowing for lots of talk about your day while getting dinner ready.  The kitchen comes complete with granite counter tops,  stainless steel appliances, including a dish washer,  & a bar with seating for 3.  The diningroom offers a table with seating for 6, the perfect place to plan out the next days activities.  To the left enjoy those cool evenings in the cozy living room with gas stove while enjoying a dvd. Through the livingroom you will find a full bath and 3 bedrooms.  One bedroom with a double futon. Another with a double bed. The master bedroom has a double bed and private full bath. Occupancy 6 people.   With ammenities such as TV, VCR/DVD, telephone with long distance block, washer/dryer, gas grill, and dishwasher this house is just right.  Some pets allowed for an additional fee of $100.00 a week.  Due to insurance we can not allow rottweilers or pit bulls.
